From Texas to Hong Kong and back, with a few stops along the way, Shawn has curated a hospitality career like no other. Armstrong is one of a rare class of hospitality executives who has led Food and Beverage operations across four continents - and now stands at the intersection of elite private club leadership and one of golf’s most consequential moments. Having previously led the culinary operations at the Los Angeles Country Club during the 2023 US Open, Armstrong has begun to steer Winged Foot Golf Club’s Food and Beverage operation towards the 2028 US Open, an achievement that few senior hospitality leaders have accomplished.
